R.O.C. Prayer Campaign

ROC and Rec Ministry Prayer Card

God’s word reminds us constantly to not be anxious in anything and to pray. Most of us in the RBC family have been very anxious for the R.O.C. to be completed. I’ll be the first one to admit that I don’t fully understand why we’ve had to endure so many complications and delays. But I am constantly reminded by the Spirit that God’s timing is perfect and that the doors will open when He’s ready. So my heart is at peace. This does not mean, however, that we should just sit around minding our own business waiting. Instead, we should do as Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:6 and “…not be anxious in anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God.”

I would like us to embark on a prayer campaign to pray daily and consistently until the R.O.C. is completed. We should be praying for the R.O.C.’s completion, the lives it has already touched, the lives it will touch, and for the Recreation Ministry at large. Each day I will do my best to post specific items to pray for to help guide us. Thank you!
