Sports Camp Registration is Open

I’m happy to announce that the RBC Sports Camp registration is open.  The camp dates for this year are July 6-22nd. Click on the image to register your child(ren) online.

Calendar Updated

All of the Upward and Youth Basketball games and practice times/locations have been added to the main church calendar and the Recreation Calendar on the left.

Basketball Games Tomorrow

Come support our children and youth and enjoy some great games of basketball.  Games are every Saturday.  Schedules are here for Upward and on the main church calendar for youth/CBA.  All Upward games are played at the Inter-Denominational Church of God.  The Youth/CBA games are either at Rocky Hill Middle School or Clarksburg High School.

Basketball – Extended Registration

Basketball registration has been extended to 18 December.  Hurry, register your child now via the links above.

Don’t forget about Upward Evaluations

Don’t forget that our Upward Basketball evaluations will be held this weekend at Camp Bennett Retreat and Conference Center Gym, 20501 Georgia Ave, Brookville, MD 20833.  They will run on Friday, 4 December, from 6-9pm or Saturday, 5 December, from 9am-12pm.  If you have any questions please contact the church office at 301-977-1000 or myself at joed@redlandbaptist.org.

Thankful for His Blessings!

Thank you Lord for your many blessings.  Thank you Lord for blessing us with the vision to use recreation as a tool to connect with our community.  Thank you Lord for blessing us with the ability and means to build a facility that can be used as an oasis within our community.  Thank you Lord for instilling in us a desire to serve You and share Your love with our community.  Most importantly, thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice through the death of your Son for our sins, even when we didn’t deserve it…Amen!

Opportunities to serve

Update on the Block @ the ROC

We’ve picked a new date for the Block @ the ROC.  The block party will be on September 18, 2010.  Although we had to delay it a year do to some construction delays in our Recreation and Outreach Center, we are still so excited about the opportunity to host RBC’s first block party.  Gabe and Sara and their team are working tirelessly to plan this event.  If you are interested in joining their planning team or want to learn more about it please feel free to contact me joed@redlandbaptist.org.
