About Recreation Ministry

As Americans, we love recreation whether its sports, crafts, or the outdoors. We might work hard, but we also like to play hard. Knowing this fact, why not use America's love for recreation as an opportunity to build relationships, genuine relationships, with members of the community. We typically feel strange going to talk to random strangers. Recreational activities, break the ice for us and forces us to get to know each other. And as these relationships grow, opportunities present themselves to share Christ's love story through each of us as Christ followers. That's what distinguishes Recreation Ministry from Recreation. In the end Recreation Ministry is about play...with a purpose. That purpose is to share the greatest love story known to man kind, that of Jesus Christ and grow long lasting friendships with our community.
